MSHS Athletics Develops New Resource For Students Interested In Playing College Sports

The journey to becoming a collegiate student-athlete is one that requires time, thought, dedication, commitment and planning.  With the understanding of how daunting the processes of eligibility certification, athletics recruitment and college/university admissions can be, MSHS Athletics has developed a new portion of its website to assist students/families along the way.

The new page, entitled “Prospective College Student-Athletes” can be found under the “Resources” tab on the MSHS Athletics Website (www.mqtredmen.com) or by clicking here.

Over the next several months, new resources will be added to the site.  These additions will focus on how students can effectively interact with college coaches/administrators, when/how they can communicate with the best chance for success, as well as how to best market themselves to gain opportunities to participate in athletics at the college level.

Students with the goal of participating in collegiate athletics should not hesitate about seeking help and making their aspirations known to coaches/staff.  Questions or help needed regarding this resource or planning ahead for a future career in college athletics can be directed to Alex Tiseo, MSHS Athletic Director, at atiseo@mapsnet.org.
