2021 All-U.P. Girls Swim & Dive Teams Released; MSHS Leads The Way With Nine Honorees

Following a team runner-up finish at last Saturday’s MHSAA U.P. State Finals, the MSHS Girls Swimming & Diving Team was well represented on the All-Upper Peninsula Teams that were announced on Wednesday (March 17).

Overall, MSHS led the way with nine total team members receiving All-U.P. honors.  Below is the full listing of award recipients.

Girls Swim & Dive Finishes Second at 2021 MHSAA U.P. State Championships

At this weekend’s U.P. Swimming & Diving Finals (March 12-13), the MSHS Girls Swimming & Diving Team finished second in a tightly contested meet with Sault Ste. Marie.  MSHS swimmers and divers battled tough throughout the meet with many improving upon their seeding entering each event.

The MSHS Girls Swimming & Diving team traveled to Kingsford today (March 2) to take part in a dual meet.  The MSHS girls defeated the Flivvers in the meet by a final score of 101-63.

The MSHS Girls Swimming & Diving team traveled up the hill to West Ishpeming yesterday (February 24) to take part in a dual meet at Westwood High School.  The MSHS girls defeated the Patriots in the competition by a final margin of 122.5 to 58.5.

The MSHS Girls Swimming & Diving team traveled to Manistique yesterday (February 22) to take part in a dual meet.  The MSHS girls topped the Emeralds in the meet by a final score of 93-55.
