Spring Sport “Senior Day” for the Class of 2020

Spring Sport “Senior Day” for the Class of 2020

On April 3, 2020, the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) made the decision to cancel spring sports seasons to further protect our health and well-being as we attempt to decrease the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

The inability to experience a spring athletics season that provides an opportunity to display the passion, commitment, hard work and determination that goes into sport participation has no doubt been tough for all MSHS student-athletes, but it has been particularly difficult for our Class of 2020 seniors.

While replacing the experience of a “Senior Day” is an impossible task, MSHS Athletics would like to provide this special recognition for the spring sport student-athletes in the Class of 2020.  As part of this recognition, seniors were contacted and asked to submit responses that were used to create a “Senior Spotlight” that will also be shared on the MSHS Athletics Facebook page during the month of May.

Student-athletes and their sport participation are listed below.  Click on students to view their “Senior Spotlight” graphic (disclaimer: students without a link can respond to the email sent by Mr. Tiseo so that a graphic can be generated and linked).  Congratulations to our Class of 2020 spring sport seniors as we continue to recognize, honor and celebrate your accomplishments leading up to your graduation from MSHS!
