2022-23 Great Northern Conference Girls Basketball Awards Announced; Five Redettes Receive Accolades

On Wednesday (3/8/23), girls basketball coaches within the Great Northern Conference (GNC) met to select awards recipients for the 2022-23 season.  Member schools within the GNC include Marquette, Escanaba, Gladstone, Kingsford and Menominee.

Five Redettes were honored as part of the announcement with senior Meghan MacPhee (1st Team), senior Julia Ott (2nd Team), junior Siena Lingle (Defensive Team; Honorable Mention), senior Brooke Logan (Honorable Mention) and senior Cora Anderson (Honorable Mention) making up the group from MSHS receiving accolades.

Below are the All-GNC awards recipients from the 2022-23 girls basketball season:

GNC Offensive Player of the Year:

With yesterday’s victory in Kingsford, MSHS has solidifed a second place finish in the Great Northern Conference for the 2022-23 girls basketball season.  Below are the current GNC standings:
