Varsity Gymnastics Earns Season High Team Score In Dual Meet Win Over Negaunee

The MSHS Gymnastics Team had a great night in Negaunee yesterday (2/24/21), as they secured their second qualifying team score that was also a season-high of 122.375.

With all 13 student-athletes competing during the meet, there were many season best and regional qualifying scores turned in by MSHS gymnasts.

The following gymnasts earned event scores that qualify them for the MHSAA Regional Meet in Grand Rapids on March 20:

  • Grace Henning (Floor, Vault)
  • Haddie Ketzenberger (All-Around)
  • Ava Porter (Vault)
  • Tally Rasmussen (Beam, Vault)
  • Helana Sharp (Beam)

Constant improvement during this condensed season continues to be a trend within the MSHS Gymnastics program.  The following student-athletes earned season-high scores during yesterday’s competition:

The MSHS Girls Swimming & Diving team traveled up the hill to West Ishpeming yesterday (February 24) to take part in a dual meet at Westwood High School.  The MSHS girls defeated the Patriots in the competition by a final margin of 122.5 to 58.5.

The MSHS Boys Swimming & Diving team traveled up the hill to West Ishpeming yesterday (February 24) to take part in a dual meet at Westwood High School.  The MSHS boys defeated the Patriots in the competition.
